NPO's positive contribution to the society has not gone unnoticed. Software manufacturers have a set of licensing policies and incentives in place to reward NPOs for their great efforts. Select the manufacturer of your choice below to find out how you could, as an NPO, benefit from them:

Adobe®


Adobe does offer academic software pricing to most non-profit organizations located in Singapore. You may fill up the form here, email it to npo@softwareexchange.com.sg or fax: +65 6883 1410, so that we could help you check out on your eligibility.


NPOs in Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States are eligible to request donations through Adobe's Software Donation Program, administered by Gifts in Kind International. Details here.

Note that NPO promoting religious faith or political idea are not eligible for this program. In addition, organizations advocating, supporting or practicing discrimination based on race, religion, age, national origin, language, sex, sexual preference or physical handicap are ineligible.

Autodesk®


Autodesk® has a comprehensive donation program for NPOs, correctional facilities, and qualified disabled individuals. Managed by Gifts In Kind International, this program is offered worldwide. Details here.

Note that NPO promoting religious faith or political idea are not eligible for this program. In addition, organizations advocating, supporting or practicing discrimination based on race, religion, age, national origin, language, sex, sexual preference or physical handicap are ineligible as well.

Macromedia®


Macromedia offers special software pricing only for non-profit organizations residing in US, Canada and Europe. Called Nonprofit License Option, per-license price is equivalent to the list price of an academic retail box. NPOs in Singapore may request to buy and use academic packages by filling up a form here and fax it with supporting documents to their Singapore office.

Microsoft®

In Singapore, only organizations registered with the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) are eligible for Microsoft Open Charity program. Under this program, eligible charitable organizations and voluntary welfare organizations (VWOs) can purchase Microsoft Open Charity licenses at specially discounted prices for a year upon approval.

To check if you one, click here to view a complete list of VWOs registered with NCSS. To apply, you may write to Microsoft Singapore directly or use the sample letter here. Please note that unsolicited proposals are not accepted.

For non NCSS-registered NPOs, or NPOs residing outside Singapore, you may wish to take advantage of other Microsoft Software Donation Programs, with full details here.

Symantec®

Symantec does not have a special software pricing nor donation program for NPOs in Singapore. Interested NPOs may do so by writing to Symantec Singapore directly.   For your convenience, we have prepared a sample letter here for your reference.

NPOs residing in North America meeting the requirements may apply for the Symantec Software Donation Program, administered by Gifts in Kind International.  Details here.
